Regional Executive Director – Regional Executive Director
Mr. Lambeth is responsible for IMRI business operations at Lumeta, Inc. in Tysons Corner, VA and the surrounding Washington DC metropolitan area. He joined IMRI following a highly distinguished 30 year career in the US Army. Early in his career he gained extensive experience in battlefield communications while supporting such elite combat units as the 101st Airborne, 2d Infantry, and 2d Armored Divisions. The Vietnam veteran later broadened his experiences at the strategic communications level with tours with the 7th Signal Brigade, HQ DISA, and as a member of the Army staff.
While assigned as Chief of the Traffic Engineering Brach, DCA (now DISA), Mr. Lambeth was responsible for maintaining acceptable grades of Service and Quality on the Defense Information Systems Network (DISN) backbone that supports worldwide war fighter operations. As a Department of Army Systems Coordinator (DASC), he provided HQ DA oversight and coordination for the life cycle development of high-dollar valued programs. He assisted project managers with their annual budget developments and defended those budgets throughout the. As Deputy Director, Communications & Electronics Command (CECOM), he assisted the Director in managing Research and Development and acquisition activities of a greater than 2000-person organization, geographically dispersed throughout three states with an annual budget in excess of $1 billion.
Mr. Lambeth was later selected as Project Manager, Maneuver Control System (MCS), a battlefield command and control system designed to aid battlefield commanders with timely information processing and developing the common picture of the battlefield while issuing plans and orders.
After establishing and organizing the Defense Messaging System (DMS – Army) office, Mr. Lambeth served as its first PM.
Mr. Lambeth holds a B.S. in Industrial Management (Electronics) from Virginia State University and a M. Ed. in Guidance and Counseling from Prairie View A&M University. He is also a graduate of the DoD Acquisition University’s Project Managers Course and the Communications & Electronics Systems Engineering Course at Kessler Air Force Base.
